·   Review the consultant’s and contractor’s work on soil investigations, and design standards and give recommendations.

·   Coordination & decision making of technical matters such as route alignment, depth, proximity with buildings etc.

·   Review the construction methodologies for all aspects of construction, including shafts, pipeline construction, micro-tunneling, fixing, removal & shifting of micro-tunneling arrangements.

·   Ensure risks regarding health & safety owing to soil conditions at the site are mitigated properly.

·   Responsible to review all the geotechnical investigation reports and taking related decisions required for the project as per site requirements.

·   Verifying claims of the consultants and contractors related to geo-technical aspects and micro-tunneling aspects of the project.

·   Discussions with consultant / contractor to finalize most optimized route alignment, depth, and construction prospects.

·   Manage and supervise all soil investigation works, TBM works, Cross passage works, and Ground improvement works.

·   Responsible for dealing with consultants, authorities, client, and sub-contractors management.

·   Knowledge of execution of work based on contract schedule for responsible area.

·   Highlight technical issues and update the Construction team on changes and distribute to vendors, engineers and supervisors.

·   Plan and execute geotechnical-related and allied monitoring works.

·   Manage and supervise all TBM-related works for the smooth functioning of the project.

·   Site evaluation of soil, rock, fault distribution and geological studies on site.

·   Validate / identify any risks involved in the project based on soil investigations, TBM Functions and implement remedial measures.

·   Any other tasks assigned by the Project Director for the successful completion of the project.
