Qualification and experience: 

MBBS with Post graduate qualification in clinical microbiology or clinical pathology (2 years; full time) from HEC Recognized University. Candidates with higher relevant qualification and/or publications in peer reviewed journals as first author will be preferred. At least 7 years' experience of working in a high-volume Laboratory (preferably ISO 15189 certified) and minimum 03 Years’ experience in Mycobacteriology and use of digital technologies. Sound knowledge of WHO recommended strategies for diagnosis of TB and drug resistance and molecular technologies used for drug resistance and surveillance. Experience of grant proposal and report writing, designing, implementation and project management will be preferred. Candidates with good analytical, communication and presentation skills and command in English will be asset.
