Qualification and Experience:

MBBS equivalent medical qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission. and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diplomat American Board in the specialty respective or equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from an institute or university recognized by the PMC/PMDC with three years post- graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute. OR ii. If none is available with above qualification then: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the PMC/PMDC and FCPS or MS or FRCS Sor or MRCP or MD or Diplomat American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective specialty) or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the iii.Three (03) years PMC/PMDC. teaching or practical experience in the subject in recognized a institution before or after graduation. post- iv.Five years (05) teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor equivalent or position recognized by PMC with at least three (03) research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant Professor and  Five (05) years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor equivalent or position recognized by PMDC with at least 03 research papers published in a standard medical journals and  At least (03) research papers published in standard medical journals as recognized by the PMDC/PMC. However, for Associate Professor Medicine research papers must be published while working as Assistant Professor.
