Qualification and Experience:

MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMC/PMDC with post-graduate qualification of FCPS or MS or FRCS or Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Cardiac or Paediatric Cardiovascular or Congenital Cardiac Surgery recognized by the PMDC/PMC. If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then: MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by Pakistan Medical Commission with post-graduate qualification of FCPS or MS or FRCS or Diplomat of American Board or equivalent qualification recognised by the PMC/PMDC in: a) Cardiac or Cardiac-thoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery with one year's experience after post-graduation in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery from an institution recognised by the PMC/PMDC. b) Paediatric Surgery with three years' experience, after post-graduation, in the Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery from an institution recognised by the PMC/PMDC.
