Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum Sixteen years of education with HEC-recognized Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• A Master's degree in a relevant discipline shall be preferred.
• Relevant current certification in enterprise networking, network security, virtualization, Linux / Windows server administration, cloud storage, data-centre operations, IT service management or project management shall be an advantage.
• Minimum twelve years of post-qualification experience in data-center infrastructure, enterprise networks, system administration, cloud or cyber security operations.
• At least seven years in a senior infrastructure, network, data-center, systems or technical operations leadership role in any Government Organization.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing or operating at least one enterprise infrastructure project, including one multi-site network or data-center environment.
• Demonstrated experience with routing/switching, firewalls, VPN/SD-WAN, virtualization, servers, storage, backup, directory services, monitoring and high availability.
• Experience in disaster-recovery planning, recovery testing, cyber security controls, incident response, capacity planning and 24/7 operational support.
• Experience in site surveys, TOR/RFP and BOQ preparation, technical evaluation, OEM/ISP/vendor management, SLA monitoring and acceptance testing.
• Working knowledge of data-center power, UPS, cooling, fire suppression, environmental monitoring, physical security, structural cabling and health-and-safety control
