Qualification and Experience:

• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC / PMC
• Registered with the PMDC / PMC
• FCPS, MD, CCT, Diplomat American Board in Neonatology or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC / PMC. If no candidate is available with the aforesaid qualification, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council/Pakistan Medical Commission with one year experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) or an International Body recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council/Pakistan Medical Commission And if no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diplomat American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission with two years' experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council/Pakistan Medical Commission
• five years' teaching experience as Assistant Professor Neonatology (BS-18) from an institute recognized by PMDC / PMC and three research publications in Neonatology, as Assistant Professor published in a standard medical journal recognized by PMDC / PMC or the Higher Education Commission.
