Qualification and Experience:

• M.B.B.S or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council OR
• M.A. or M.Sc. (Statistics or Biostatistics) if no suitable Medical Graduate is available) and the following post graduate qualification in order of Preference: D.Sc. or Ph. D. or M.Phil or M.S./M.Sc. (two years duration) or other equivalent qualification recognized by the Council.
• If no suitable candidate with the aforesaid qualification is available, then:
• (a) M.B.B.S. or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Council or M.A. or M.Sc. (Statistics or Bio-statistics) if no suitable medical graduate is available with the following post graduate. Diploma) qualifications in the specialty:
• D.P.H. or M.P.H. or M.A., M. Sc, (Statistics or Bio-statistics) (one year duration) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Council; and
• (b) three years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Demonstrator or an equivalent position recognized by the Council or five years practical experience in the field of Biostatistics.
