Qualification and Experience:

• B.D.S. or equivalent Dental qualification, recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (herein after mentioned as Council), with the following post-graduate qualifications in the subject, in order of preference:
• D.Sc. or Ph. D. or M.D.S. or M. Phil. or M.S./M.Sc. (two years duration or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Council).
• If no suitable candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available then:
• (a) B.D.S. or equivalent Dental qualification, recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council with the following post-graduate (Diploma) qualifications in the subject:- D.P.H. or M.P.H. or M.S./M.Sc. (one year Duration) or M. C. P. S. or equivalent qualifications, recognized by the Council; and
• (b) three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized institution as Demonstrator or an equivalent position, recognized by the council or five years practical experience in the field of Dental Public Health.
