Qualification and Experience:

• BS/ MS in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Data Science / Computational Finance, Climate Change, Disaster Management, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
• Must have 4-6 years’ working experience, of which at least 2 years should be in climate and disaster risk finance, catastrophe risk analytics, insurance / Insur Tech, or FinTech.
• Must have familiarity with Pakistan's climate and disaster risk finance landscape.
• Experience in designing data-driven financial instruments (e.g., parametric insurance, indexbased triggers, contingent financing) is preferred.
• Working knowledge of catastrophe / risk modeling, earth-observation and hydromet data, or GIS is preferred.
• Proficiency in quantitative tools (Python / R, advanced Excel) for economic and financial modeling is preferred.
• Experience with government, IFIs, technology partners and other international organizations is preferred.
• Project management and proposal development experience preferred.  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
