Qualification and Experience:

• LL.B. and LL.M. degrees from a recognized university (LL.M. from a foreign university preferred)
• At least 7 years' experience as an Advocate of the High Court
• Substantial experience in litigation, transactional, and corporate legal work (In-house legal experience in Government Department or public sector organization preferred)
• Substantial litigation experience before High Court and other courts, with a minimum of 2 reported judgments and appearances in at least 30 cases before the High Court
• Experience in constitutional, commercial, corporate, regulatory, employment, and/or public-sector litigation is an added advantage
• Strong legal research, drafting, advisory, negotiation, and case-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a legal department, supervise external counsel, formulate litigation strategy, and provide strategic legal advice to senior management
