Qualification and Experience:

• A member of an organized body of professional accountants with at least five years relevant experience OR
• Holding a master’s degree in finance related disciplines from a university recognized by the HEC with at least ten years relevant experience. OR
• Being a Fellow or Associate member of the Casualty Actuarial Society or the Institute of Actuaries in England or Society of Actuaries in the United States of America and has at least five (5) years of managerial experience in the fields of audit or accounting or in managing financial or corporate affairs functions of an insurer, shall also be eligible to be appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of an insurer
• The following experience and credentials will be preferred: a) Candidate having knowledge and implementation of IFRS 17.
• Candidate having served as a key officer in insurance industry.
• Candidate having experience of serving as CFO in an insurance company or public sector or an SOE. Knowledge of dealing with public procurement and know-how of PPRA Rules/Regulations
• Exposure to ERP environment.
