Qualification & Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), would be a minimum requirement. A degree in business management from an HEC-recognized/ accredited University would be desirable plus.

The candidate must possess overall professional experience of twenty years in corporate entities with at least 5-years of working experience, in a senior position, in the regulated energy sector in electrical power system operation and/or energy markets.

The candidate should preferably have experience in commodity/energy trading and knowledge and understanding of competitive energy market regimes. Experience working in an electric utility related to market operation and trading will be preferable.

For private sector candidates, an overall experience of 20 years should include a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position as Department Head/ C-Suite level in the regulated electrical power system operation and dispatch utility/market.

For public sector candidates, overall experience of 20 years should include a minimum of 3 years at grade 20 or above positions.
