Eligibility / Quota

Qualification and experience:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce and other similar discipline. Fully and partly qualified Professional Certification holders like CA, ACCA, ICMA, CFA are encouraged to apply.
 
5 Years (Minimum five (05) years' hands-on relevant experience is necessary that may include article-ship or professional training at any accounting firm.)
 

Duties & Responsibilities:

To become business partner with each business unit and department for their budget requirements through pro-active coordination.

To assist them for their business model, projections, estimates and also either challenge or validate their assumptions independently. Thereafter, get it changed or improved, where required.

To assist for developing departmental budget templates for data compilation of master budget consists of revenue expenditures, capital allocation, sub-projects, and various income streams estimations with assumptions thereof.

To provide required information for preparing working papers, analysis reports and budget or forecast presentations.

To prepare periodic control & variance analysis with deviations and reasons thereof - to ensure all financial operations are within budget & approved matrixes.

To review procurement requests against approved financial budget.

To suggest process simplification and budget & control automation.

To assist to develop daily dashboard for revenue reconciliation and reporting for all income streams including fees, taxes, charges from other government agencies (OGAs).

Pro-active liaison with internal (technical & operational teams) and external stakeholders (e.g. 1-Link, SBP, Commercial Banks and OGAs), to resolve reconciliation issues urgently.

To represent HO Accounts and Finance Team in Karachi.

Qualification, Experience & Technical Competencies:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce and other similar discipline.

Fully and partly qualified Professional Certification holders like CA, ACCA, ICMA, CFA are encouraged to apply.

Minimum five (05) years' hands-on relevant experience is necessary that may include article-ship or professional training at any accounting firm.

Above average analytical and numerical skills with attention to details

Excellent written communication skills; able to present complex ideas with brevity into brief note or report, tables, graphs, visuals, infographics, graphs, tables; power point presentation

Advanced MS Excel & Presentation Skills with proficiency with sound knowledge of Data & information and Communication Technology (lCT),

Prior knowledge of alternative delivery channels & reconciliation

Independent self-starter and organize to deliver on time

Strong business ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.

Besides, customary requisite knowledge of accounting and finance fundamentals preferred understating of corporate, tax, commercial, trade and regulatory laws.

Base of Operation:

The purpose of the job is to be a Finance Business Partner:

To coordinate with internal stakeholders and assist them to prepare various types of budgets, projections, forecasts, estimates, stress testing and scenario building with variable assumptions and critical drivers.

To reconcile various conventional and digital revenue streams which might come through normal banking channels or alternative delivery channels (ADCs) like electronic settlements, through switches like 1-Link etc.

To prepare periodic variance analysis reports, cash flows, overhead apportionment for services or projects costing, throughput accounting ratios and breakeven analysis etc.

To assist Islamabad accounts and finance department for routine accounts related matters in Karachi as their representative.

A preferred applicant/candidate must have excellent analytical, creative and written communication skills with ability to present complex ideas with brevity into few simple visuals, infographics, graphs, tables, power point presentation etc.
